The Best Sun Hat for Babies and Toddlers

She Wears a Hat?!

The most frequent comment I get from parents when I am out hiking with my kids, is “She wears a hat?!” They of course are referring to my brown-eyed beauty, Miss Emmalene. And honestly, they are correct to feel amazed. As many parents know getting a baby or toddler to wear a hat willingly is no easy feat.

It becomes especially challenging for those of us that have been blessed with baldheaded babies or toddlers. As a responsible parent, you seem to have only one of two options.

Option One: Spend your entire outing seeing how quickly you can put the hat on your kid’s head before they immediately rip it off.

OR

Option Two: Attempt to slather sunscreen through what fuzzy little hair your child has grown, creating a nice goopy mess.

Honestly, neither option is a good one. So imagine my delight when I found a sun hat that my baby can’t get off!! Yep, you heard me right. Such a magnificent product does exist and I am here to tell you all about it!

But before we get into the details, let me just clarify one thing! Now, you may be thinking “Well that’s easy for her to say. Her baby is probably super easy-going and docile.” While Emmalene has many good qualities, being easy-going is not one of them. In fact, Emma is one of the most determined little spitfires that you will probably ever meet. And it is probably due to this fact alone that I have become such a raving fan of this product.
