Enrollment for the Eden UT Mom Retreat is officially open. Now is your chance to experience firsthand Utah’s world famous powder.
The retreat will be held on February 7-10, 2024 in beautiful Eden, Utah (and surrounding areas).
Eight lucky moms will get to experience the hidden gem of Powder Mountain Resort. With 8,484 acres of skiable terrain, Powder Mountain is North America´s largest ski area. If you want endless powder or untouched corduroy this is the place for you. Even on the busiest day, you feel like you have the resort to yourself. Not to mention, you will have a local guide to show you around so you can get the most out of your visit. There are loads of hidden treasures at Powder Mountain and you will get to experience all of them.
We will also be enjoying breathtaking snowshoeing, a deep soak in a geothermal spring, hidden within a 55-foot tall, beehive-shaped limestone rock, and enjoying all the best of the local eats!
Sounds pretty exciting, right?!
But before I tell you more, let me first answer two questions that I am sure you have!
Question #1: Who is the Eden UT Mom Retreat for?
The Eden UT Mom Retreat is for any mom who has skiing and/or snowboarding experience (can confidently ski at a minimum a blue run) and is up for some epic adventure. Powder Mountain has a little bit of something for everyone from green runs to double blacks. If you have never skied or snowboarded then unfortunately this retreat will not be for you (but no worries – there are two more retreats coming later this year that you can look forward to!)
If there are varying skiing levels, the group will be split so that our groomer lovers can hit all the best runs at the resort and our powder lovers can experience all the best expert-level runs. Each group will have a local guide to ensure they have the optimal experience.
Question #2: What’s the investment?
I get it! Spending money on yourself as a mom can be hard 🙋 That is why I do my absolute best to keep the cost of these retreats as low as possible! I want everyone to have the opportunity to participate if they want. I hate the thought of these retreats being cost-prohibitive.
The retreat cost structure will be set up similarly to an outdoor guiding service (participation fee + tip).
Because I am confident anyone who comes is going to have an EXCELLENT time, the retreat attendance fee will be offered at cost. Then at the conclusion of the retreat, you can determine if you would like to provide a tip to your guide (Adventures After Kids) according to how satisfied you are with the experience.
That means the Eden UT Mom Retreat will be offered at an affordable rate of:
$425 for a private room
$350 for a shared room (twin bed)
As a frame of reference if you were to plan this trip on your own the cost structure would be as follows:
Accommodations: $560
Breakfast and Lunch: $40
Transportation: $300
Activity Entry Fees: $250
Local Guides: $200
Local Guide Tip: $40
TOTAL COST PER PERSON: $1,390
Even if you found a friend to split the cost of accommodations, car rental, and local guide fee you would be paying: $860 for a similar experience. I really can’t overstate how incredible of a value this trip is!
