I know as a mom it can be hard to invest in ourselves. Sometimes, money can be tight, and finding childcare can be tricky. That is why I want to give you all the details so you have time to decide if attending this retreat is something you want to do.

Today I will be sharing all the answers to the questions I frequently get about my retreats. Enrollment is only open until Thursday, March 14th so I want to make sure you can make an informed decision and not miss out on this awesome opportunity.

But before we jump into the nitty gritty please carefully read through the following information:

Due to my family having some big expenses coming up this year (hospital bills and purchasing a larger vehicle) we can’t afford to eat any cost of the retreat.

If I am unable to fill the retreat by EOD Thursday, March 14th I will have to cancel the retreat. That means for you out of town guest, if you decide to sign up for the retreat, please wait to buy airfare until I have confirmed the retreat on Friday, March 15th. If the retreat has to be canceled then your money will be fully refunded.

There is currently three spots left: one private room (queen bed), and one shared room (two twin beds). For close friends that are open to sharing a queen bed, there is an option of sharing a queen room for the cost of $315. If that is something you are interested in, just shoot me an email.

IS THERE A PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT?

Hiking: We will be doing a variety of hikes on this retreat with the longest being to Lower Calf Creek Falls. This hike is about 7 miles round trip in sandy conditions with minimal elevation gain.

Canyoneering: One day of the trip we will be doing some canyoneering which will require rappelling and possible some rock scrambling.

Slot Canyons: We will also be exploring some slot canyons. The plan is to do Peek-a-Boo and Spooky Gulches which get as small as 16 inches in some spots. It is possible we don’t do that route if the road conditions are poor and will do Zebra Slot Canyon which is not quite as tight.

WHAT ARE THE SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS?

We will be staying in a beautiful VRBO with 2 twin beds and 4 queen beds.

CAN I HAVE MY OWN ROOM?

Yes, if you act fast. There is only one private room left. For moms wanting their own room, you can reserve one of the queen beds. Simply select “Queen” at checkout.

WHAT DOES SHARING A ROOM ENTAIL?

In sharing a room you will only be sharing with one other person and not be required to share a bed. The shared room as two twin beds.

DO I HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL OF THE ACTIVITIES?

You are welcome to forgo any of the activities listed on the itinerary. But please be aware that foregoing activities will not change the cost of the trip. However, given that the purpose of this trip is to build community – I would STRONGLY encourage you to participate fully in the retreat.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

If you are not 100% satisfied with the trip, you can receive a 100% refund within 14 days of the end of the trip.
